Veronica Scheer started her computer consulting business in 2001 after working with one of the largest US-based educational publishers, Scholastic, for over 24 years in various management positions. She successfully launched an educational technology business serving K-12 schools, and academic and public libraries throughout the U.S. and Canada. Her solid background in the fundamentals of the Internet including HTML coding and search engine strategies helped Scholastic successfully launch a Web-based subscription service for the Scholastic encyclopedias.
She has extensive knowledge in basic business applications such as Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel. Throughout her career she trained both staff and educators to use the many software applications available today. She says, "Teaching others to get the most out of their computers is my passion. Watching that light bulb go off when they 'understand' is extremely rewarding."
